Naad Yoga

Sound radically alters the molecular structure of living things.

Naad Yoga uses sound to vibrate the brain and body into resonance with the divine. Chanting seed sounds and sacred mantras strengthens our electromagnetic field, or aura. Obstacles dissolve. We begin to glow with health and live our highest Truths.

“Naad” (Gurmukhi), or “Nada” (Sanskrit) is the universal sound current, the “cosmic OM”. In Naad Yoga, we attune the brain and body with this sound current through chanting and praising the divine. Sound is the essential component of all that exists; matter is energy in motion. Sound is the ocean where life meets form, and the river through which it all flows. Even WE are just clusters of molecules vibrating, interacting, and resonating. Sacred mantras uplift and harmonize our resonance. When one repeats mantras, the aura is flooded with magnetic charge. Healing naturally occurs. With focused, consistent practice, the aura becomes highly magnetized, and we literally vibrate at the frequency of light!

Changes in the electromagnetic field always preceed physical change, and Naad Yoga works directly on this field. Vibrating sound patterns reorganize the brain and nervous system, shaping who we are from the core. Our bodies are 75% fluid. Sound transmits through water 60X more efficiently that through air. It is no accident that the cerebrospinal fluid around the brain and spinal cord, and the water in the body, are excellent conductors of sound.

There are 84 meridian points on the roof of the mouth, which the tongue stimulates as we chant. These meridian points vibrate the hypothalamus and pituitary gland in the brain, directly and immediately influencing glandular function: mood, emotions, behaviors, and physical health.
In Naad Yoga we chant in Gurmukhi, the sacred Indian language of the Sikhs. Just as sounds in language carry meaning, the meaning in the mantras is transmitted via cerebrospinal fluid directly into the brain, which produces the experience of ecstasy.
